Did you try this link before you submitted your change? (Or did you intend to post an invallid google search)

My guess is that this is a not so subtle suggestion to "look it up". Somehow or other actually getting a "discussion" going in the "forum" rather than a bulletin boarding of conspiracy theories with which one has not time or inclination to discuss seems odd. Why would one have no interest in discussing/defending these little gift piles? I'm thinking possibly because one has absorbed them uncritically and can't actually discuss them critically as a result--then I've been wrong many times before.

Still it's curious...

Jeez guy, my little two line response triggered that post. WOW! Apologies for the delay in responding to you. I was running your post through Occam's Razor, and it just now finished. Result: Someone is suffering from advanced "testosterone poisoning" and has a real "chip on his shoulder". (It looks like PD may have some real competition for his title of "Tome Meister", in this guy.) Lose the 'tude, dude! It's not helpful in a rational "discussion".

Please then excuse me for my lack of manners but I shall be scrutinising this opinion of yours humble or otherwise.
You're pardoned and excused. When you have finished your scrutinizing homework, come back and we will talk. I wouldn't want to bias your independent research and investigations. Is that "Occam" enough for you? :-D

In the meantime, here's some Bill Hicks ("RED PILL", ask PD), for ya. Enjoy!

Quote

"The elite ruling class wants us asleep so we'll remain a docile, apathetic, passive herd of consumers, and non-participants in the true agenda of our governments --- which is to keep us separate, and present an image of a world filled with unresolvable problems, that they, and only they might one day, somewhere in the never-arriving future, be able to solve. Just stay asleep America, keep watching TV."

"Go back to bed, America, your government has figured out how it all transpired. Go back to bed America, your government is in control. Here, here's American Gladiators. Watch this, shut up, go back to bed America, here is American Gladiators, here is 56 channels of it! Watch these pituitary retards bang their fucking skulls together and congratulate you on the living in the land of freedom. Here you go America - you are free to do what well tell you! You are free to do what we tell you!"

!

Um OK consider the attitude lost. Nothing personal I just don't like weak conspiracy theories. Don't worry about the delay in replying I can only dip into the forum occasioanally myself.

Homework's up to date. I'm back. Let's talk. I believe we left it with you about to explain what you believe about these "elite forces" and why you believe it.

Cheers gotta love the Bill - he had a certain way of looking at things. Have you read "Love all the people" Not to proud to admit there were tears in my eyes by the time I put the book down.
Good buy and gobble less.

Ocelot.

Being a person, I took it personally (confirmed by rereading). Is this your usual type of reaction and response to "ideas" you do not like? I don't like conspiracy theories either and especially "weak" ones. I'd much rather be doing something else. It has become an important (at least for me) quest for truth, however. I do like truth. Sometimes truth and some conspiracy theories do go together. Sometimes they do not. It's really a continuum or a range from the purely psychotic to the true and all points in between. Determining which is which and what is what is most often the really tough part.

Not "worried" at all! I am "currently" operating under some daily posting constraints.

Hmmmm. That was quick, too quick. I'm skeptical. Sorry.

Who is this mysterious "we" you are referring to? Do you have a mouse in your pocket? :-D We'll see where this goes though.

"What" I believe, in this area, is very dynamic and in continual flux. By the time I finished explaining the "what", the written explanation would most probably be obsolete. And I really would not like to type that much anyway. Nor am I inclined to do so.
"Why" is a different matter altogether. Because it is a logical and realistic conclusion, derived from where the "good" evidence leads.<IMHO> (Sorry if <IMHO> bothers you. I don't see it as MY problem.)

Bill and I share very similar views in several areas. I believe I was there first. But, hey, who's keeping score? :) He MAY have "borrowed" some of his material from me. If you don't mind, what are your thoughts on the "content" of the provided Hick's quotes and MP3? Was he JUST and only being funny, IYHO?

No, I haven't read it. Some books impact me that way too. I'll look into it. Thanks! I'm relatively new to Bill. I first saw him on his HBO (I think) special rerun. This caused me to research him, on the web. WOW! I'm a fan.

Would you do me a favor, please? Would you take the Politopia Quiz, and post your results (numeric scores on each axis and the verbal interpretation) on that thread? It would give me a better handle and understanding of who I am dealing with here. Thanks! I appreciate it. http://myreality.chu...p?showtopic=410

I would also be interested in your thoughts and opinions of my signature quotes. It provides you with a handle on who you are dealing with.<IMHO> We're shortcutting the "getting to know you" phase here.
Thanks!

See that's the problem -- regarding the "what", if you're in continual flux, TW how in the hell do you expect anybody else to ever catch up with you -- or have an intelligent conversation about it in this forum? I'd like to ask how often the fluxing occurs and whether there is any things that remain fairly static aspects of "what". Also if you gave at least a glimpse of what the "what" is at a certain moment for you, we'd at least have a clue, maybe actually have some conversation about it in this forum.

As to the "Why", would that be based on the "What", which is in constant flux? If so, is the "Why" also in constant flux? If not how come? It would seem to go with the territory. If the "Why" is not based on the "What", then What is the "Why" based on?

So do you also not feel inclined to type that much about the "Why" here in this conversational forum?

This of course is your usual course in putting labels on people and then refusing to take their responses seriously and directly address their issues. Ocelot of course is free to jump in the box...should he desire.

Yet you refuse to ever provide this so call "good" evidence. You continue to use the same tactics that the religious right use to prove their thoughts.

Yes take his quiz. So he knows how to label you. That way when you offer a good arguement he can say it is because you are a __________ (fill in the blank) and you won't be able to understand it.

Atleast they provide their own words to discribe their thoughts. I would much rather have someone post a long post of their own words. Than to have someone just link google search top results. Though they have posted some long post. They are still shorter than the links you provide.

the "We" are the numerous people here, such as myself, who have asked you to defend your position and explain why you believe what you believe.

Translation:
I don't really know what I am talking about, nor do I have any evidence to support what I am saying. Nor do I have even have a valid arguement for what I believe, outside of having 'faith' that it exists. So, I will just make some excuses up, throwing a couple of smokescreens down, and pretend that by the time I wrote a response to you.. 24 hours later the information will have changed and I will be in the wrong. Yea! That's it! I can't explain it to you, because it is in constant flux.
